If you have experience playing rugby and want to give back, coaching is one of the most impactful ways to get involved. Your knowledge, leadership, and passion help shape the next generation of players across the Thompson Okanagan.

Coach & Volunteer Registration

Police Check Requirement

All TORA coaches, managers, and volunteers must complete a Police Information Check to ensure player safety.

  1. Step 1: Download the Police Check Form
  2. Step 2: Submit to your local RCMP detachment for processing.
  3. Step 3: Email a copy of your result + receipt for RCMP processing fees to coaching@torarugby.com

Reimbursement Policy

TORA will reimburse you for all RCMP processing fees, including fingerprinting if applicable. Please include your receipt with your submission to coaching@torarugby.com.

Why Officiate with TORA?

Officiating is one of the most rewarding ways to stay involved in rugby and give back to the Thompson Okanagan community. Referees promote safety, fairness, and respect while helping players enjoy positive rugby. Rugby officials come from all backgrounds; from ex-national players to armchair enthusiasts. Anyone with the right attitude can become a referee.
